Our history
CI4CJ was incorporated in September 2022 with the first board meeting in 2024.
Our mission
Key objectives
- To increase climate justice literacy; which includes Environmental Justice, climate change, innovation, and sustainability;
- To advance innovation locally with a focus on community and youth engagement, empowerment and improvement through pilot projects;
- To use the current state of science and whenever possible promote a research approach to local climate justice issues
- To hear and understand community voices and perspectives in addressing the various dimensions of climate justice (Climate Change + Environmental Justice + Social Justice)
